1951 HOME-BUILT RABL 24' CABIN CRUISER. Owner says, "David, I
need a home for my father's hand-built 24-foot inboard cabin cruiser. It
was built in Lynnfield Center, Massachusetts, in the 1950s, put in the
water in Essex, and was sailed to the Philadelphia area, including
across Sandy Hook in an unexpected gale, and eventually to Florida when
he retired. After my father died, my husband and I enjoyed trips on it
on the St. Johns River, and now we need to find it a new home. It has
been standing in our yard for several years, not getting any better. Can
you help us? It was a beautiful boat.
"The boat is a 24-foot cabin cruiser... mahogany trim... It has a 1941
Ford engine. My father, a consulting engineer for General Electric,
began building his dream boat in 1951...
"...I'll be looking forward to a call or email from that special someone
who will love this boat as my father did." (FL)
