1958 Chris Craft Constellation 31'

Click: <1958 CHRIS CRAFT CONNIE 31' - $1.00>

"I have too many projects and this boat needs a new home and a new owner who can complete the restoration and return this lady to her former glory. The bones appear to be solid."  [25 photos]  <PICS+INFO>

Spring 2014 (Issue No. 63)

1928 Ex-RCMP PATROL BOAT 50'

POSSIBLY FREE: 1928 Ex-RCMP PATROL BOAT 50'

"Some years ago we decided to experience the ownership of an old wooden trawler. We found a fun one in Vancouver B.C. She had not left dock under her own power for a dozen years. But she had a good story - a 1928 ex-RCMP rum runner chaser patrol boat, converted to a cruising trawler in the 50's. Our proposal is to "sell" the boat for an arranged price, which may be very low, possibly zero. We would leave the boat in complete working order with all essential gear..."  [30+ photos] <PICS+INFO>

Spring 2014 (Issue No. 63)

1963 Chris Craft Constellation 46'

FREE BOAT: 1963 CHRIS CRAFT CONSTELLATION 46'

"My business has grown to the point where it has taken me away from Studio 63 far too much, so I have not been able to put the time into her that she needs. She is available as is, where is. I would simply like to see someone take her who has the resources to keep her going. I am not asking for any money for her. She owes me nothing at this point. I would like to see whoever gets her put their money into her rather than into my pocket..."  <PICS+INFO>

Spring 2014 (Issue No. 63)

Fleet of Four Free Longhorn Sailboats

FREE BOATS: FOUR 1951 LONGHORN SAILBOATS

"Four Longhorn Sailboats, free for the taking, in need of restoration and available to a new, loving owner... Fort Worth (TX) Boat Club commissioned from Cape Cod Shipbuilding Company, Wareham, Mass. in 1951. These are the second generation..."     <PICS+INFO>

This page does not always show if boats have been "adopted."

Spring 2014 (Issue No. 63)

Free Boat: 1932 Chaisson Launch 28'

Click for: <FREE BOAT: 1932 CHAISSON LAUNCH 28'>

"As far as we know, it is the last of its kind in existence. Hull is intact but needs total restoration. It's a worthy project for someone with the skills and a lot of love for wooden boats..."  [20 photos]  <PICS+INFO>

Spring 2014 (Issue No. 63)

FREE BOAT: 1964 CHRIS CRAFT CONSTELLATION 57'

FREE BOAT: 1964 CHRIS CRAFT CONSTELLATION 57'

Owner says, "I have one week to move it from where it's at and have nowhere to take her. I will give it away to someone who will continue with it. If someone can contact me in the next 2 days expressing interest, I will give them the boat if they plan on keeping her going in the right direction. They will have to arrange transportation for it. The only reason I am offering this is because I have nowhere to take it to work on it. I am out of funds and they need it out of their way..." [50+ photos] <PICS+INFO>

Spring 2014 (Issue No. 63)

1965 William Garden Sloop

FREE BOAT: 1965 WILLIAM GARDEN SLOOP 34'

Hull is mahogany over oak. Sloop PEMADUMCOOK appeared in the Fall 2013 issue with the tale of how she got her name. Owner said, "The sails are in good condition -- jib, storm jib, mainsail. Loran, VHS, Raymarine depth finder, newly rebuilt Graymarine Y112 engine, Alado roller furler." Her asking price was $6000 then, but she is now FREE TO A GOOD HOME.  <PICS+INFO>

Spring 2014 (Issue No. 63)

Free Boat: 1972 Egg Harbor 38'

FREE BOAT: 1972 EGG HARBOR 38' SPORTFISH

"She was in the water 2 years ago. Does need some woodwork on the house and has some scratches on the hull but is very sound. Beautiful hull as you can see, one of the best looking eggs ever IMHO. Would donate to someone that is looking to bring her back to her glory..."  [22 photos]  <PICS+INFO>

Some free boats in every issue -- so far anyway.
