FREE 1929 ATLANTIC ONE DESIGN.  Owner says, "My hopes of restoring the sloop at this time are not positive, so I would like to give it to someone who can do that. The boat had belonged to a man in Connecticut where he had raced it... I believe at out of Cedar Point Yacht Club in Westport. I actually spoke to a man named Olsen who had known the previous owner and had raced on her. By his account, she was very fast and handled well in weather. He assured me that it was a wet ride..."

FREE 1936 MARBLEHEAD 30'. Built in Biddeford, Maine. 9' beam, 3' draft. Raised deck sedan cruiser. Documented. Sleeps 4 in 2 separate cabins. A head and galley. Teak decks. Fiberglassed cabin roof. Owner says, "No rotten wood. Engine removed, needs rebuilding. Boat completely restored in 1970. The bottom needs recaulking. She was refastened and caulked below the water line in 1969. Here is a classic old Controversy, the 24-foot Amphibiette named PASSEPARTOUT; she is looking for a new owner who would restore her to her old glory and then enjoy many years of sailing and cruising. This boat was designed by Cyrus Hamlin and Farnham Butler and built by Farnham Butler at the Mt Desert Yacht Yard in Somesville in 1956. Great opportunity for a handy person who knows boats."

FREE 1960 MANSON 30’

FREE 1960 MANSON 30'. Owner says, "These boats were built in Salisbury, MA. She was a grand boat in her day. The boat is my Dad's and he bought it in the mid 90's, used it until 2002, and it has been sitting since. There is substantial wood rot throughout the boat; the worst seems to be the transom which has come apart on the port side. The exterior will need a lot of structural work but it is still repairable. The interior is mostly very dirty..."  [BOAT IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE]
