REVEILLE was built over a century ago by the current owner's father.
Originally an open launch, REVEILLE was reconfigured several times over the
past 100+ years and now sports a pilothouse and cabin with cruising

BOAT: 1940 OWENS SEDAN 30'

Owner says, "I have a real nice survivor 1940 Owens Sedan that I will give
to someone who will come get her moved this month. The boat is 30.5 in
length and 11.5 beam. Weighs 9,800 pounds. I have the original sales
brochures for it, too. Has a Hercules flathead six that runs. The hull

Owner says, "The boat has been in dry storage, well covered and protected
from the elements for the past 8 years. I need to find a nice home for her.
With a full keel, it is more of a racer than a cruiser but can be used for
both. It needs some work because the forward deck has suffered some damage

FREE BOAT: 1957 ATKIN-DESIGNED CRUISER 34'

"34' Atkins designed cruiser, built in 1957 by Becker Boat Works.
She was given to me by my dad. I've taken care of her for the past 45
years. She has twin 135 fresh water-cooled Palmer engines. She
needs a good home for such a dependable boat. Free to the right

FREE BOAT: UNFINISHED GLEN-L MALAHINI SKI BOAT

"I have an
unfinished 16 ft runabout wooden boat that my stepfather was
building in our garage. However, he became ill and passed away at
the end of June and wasn't able to complete the project. The
craftsmanship is very beautiful. Perhaps you know of someone who

"Trying to find a new home for my 1953 40' racing sloop. Designed by Eric
Cox and built by Robert C. Mahan in Wellington, New Zealand. Purchased
her in NZ in 2007. Gave her a minor refit before sailing her with a
friend to Tonga, and then single-handed from Tonga-American Samoa-Hawaii-San

Special thanks to Sam L of the Crosby Striper Association for bringing this
boat to BYB's attention. According to Sam: This particular Striper is
planked of Philippine mahogany and framed with white oak. The cabin sides
are constructed of oak, with the cockpit done in teak. Starboard side helm

FREE BOAT: 1949 HUCKINS ORTEGA 40'

Owner says, "I have no recourse but to give the boat away with all
accoutrements. Hopefully someone will invest the time to restore. This
is a very painful decision as a family to make, but I have no choice. I
hope you can locate a kind person or persons to adopt WHISTLER..." [4

"I have the only 1937 Jensen, high speed launch ever built. Doubled
planked cedar over oak, very light weight and strong experimental
hull. Just the hull, not engine etc. 32 feet in length and 10.6
beam. About 6,000 pounds. It is inside my shop, and I need to make

"The Frigate Bird was designed by A.M. Deering, a Great Lakes-based
designer. It was built at Bonds Boatyard in Chicago in 1937 and
launched in '38... The wood stove is really nice for early and late
