Bone Yard Boats features FREE BOATS in nearly every issue -- actually I can't think of an issue without FREE BOATS.

This is not a complete list of FREE boats.

March 2012

FREE BOAT: 1933 SWEDISH KOSTER 25'

Owner says, "This boat is available for free. It was built in 1933, one of the first designs of Arvid Laurin. It was designed as a racing boat based on a traditional double-ended hull... I'm very anxious to find the right person that can restore her -- thanks again."  [6 images]  <PICS+INFO>

Winter 2012 (Issue No. 54)

Some free boats in every issue -- so far anyway.

March 2012

FREE BOAT: 1953 FEADSHIP 82' MOTORYACHT

"I just have a heart for the boat and hate to see another bit of history gone. I hate to see the boat destroyed for lack of interest. Any help is appreciated." This boat is free to a good home with the right person or organization who can get her back into shape.  [12 photos]  <PICS+INFO>

Winter 2012 (Issue No. 54)

FREE BOAT: 1954 PENN YAN SEA LINER 16'

"I have an early Penn Yan Sea Liner that I will happily give away... it is quite rare and well worth restoring by someone who is doing it for himself. I literally removed it from a burn pile...  I have all the hardware, even the piano hinges for the windshield components..."  [7 photos]  <PICS+INFO>

Winter 2012 (Issue No. 54)

FREE BOAT:  1940 SKANEATELES COMET 16'

Hull #1551 and Hull #2050. 5' beam. "Well, I did way too much "retrieving" last summer and fall, so it's someone else's turn to get two super early one-design, racing sailboats for free. Both boats are 90%+ complete and easily restored for the coming season..."  [4 photos]  <PICS+INFO>

Winter 2012 (Issue No. 54)

FREE BOAT: 1936 WW PHINNEY CATBOAT 22'

"Reportedly built 1936 by WW Phinney. Major restoration/TLC required. It would be a shame to have to destroy it. I've had this boat for 20 years with the intention of rebuilding it, but at this stage in my life it is more of a project than I feel I should undertake..."  [18 photos] <PICS+INFO>
