FREE 1935 COLUMBIA RIVER ONE DESIGN 28'

1935 COLUMBIA RIVER ONE DESIGN 28'. Known affectionately as CRODs, Hull #5 was originally named DORLA, now ANTIKI. "Only 12 hulls built to Joe Dyer design commissioned in 1934 by the Columbia River Yachting Association, raced as a class from '30s-'60s, first owned and raced by Harry Clow of the Portland Yacht Club. Just six hulls survive. Reasonable restoration project for devoted amateur..." [Adopted by a Bone Yard Boats subscriber.]

1958 CHRIS CRAFT SEA SKIFF 21'. Boat named TIME OUT. Owner says, "Absolutely free to a good home: 1958 Chris Craft Sea Skiff; lapstrake motorboat, 21' long. I purchased this boat in 1977 and used it for a few years on Lake Champlain. It has been stored in my barn since 1984 and needs lots of TLC but has great bones..."   [ADOPTED - No Longer Available]

FREE 1929 ATLANTIC ONE DESIGN SAILBOAT

FREE 1929 ATLANTIC ONE DESIGN.  Owner says, “My hopes of restoring the sloop at this time are not positive, so I would like to give it to someone who can do that. The boat had belonged to a man in Connecticut where he had raced it...I believe at out of Cedar Point Yacht Club in Westport. I actually spoke to a man named Olsen who had known the previous owner and had raced on her. By his account, she was very fast and handled well in weather. He assured me that it was a wet ride..."

FREE 1936 MARBLEHEAD 30’. Built in Biddeford, Maine. 9’ beam, 3’ draft. Raised deck sedan cruiser. Documented. Sleeps 4 in 2 separate cabins. A head and galley. Teak decks. Fiberglassed cabin roof. Owner says, “No rotten wood. Engine removed, needs rebuilding. Boat completely restored in 1970. The bottom needs recaulking. She was refastened and caulked below the water line in 1969. Owner's daughter says, "I am searching for a good home for a historic 1919 Mathis-Trumpy, The Grand Lady (originally Riette II -- hull#102). As you may know she is one of the oldest Trumpy yachts in existence. She is in critical need of restoration / reconstruction. She currently floats in Satsuma, FL..."    The clock is ticking on this one.

1946 CONSOLIDATED PLAYBOAT SEDAN 39'. Owner says, “Boat is complete, but in need of a major structural restoration. 1 of approximately 22 built 1945-47. A copy of the construction plans, and lines & offsets from the archives at Mystic Seaport is available. Good FWC T/318s. This boat is very rare and comes with most (if not all) original hardware... Double carvel (both strakes overlapping horizontal) white cedar planking is 90% good..."

1960 CHRIS CRAFT CONSTELLATION 36'. The boat is at a storage facility and needs to be removed asap. She was seen by someone with boat knowledge who provided the facility with following info: "The boat is a 1960 Chris Craft Constellation. It weighs 13K lbs and is 36.7 feet long.  The hull is mahogany and the boat was painted white from the factory. There were 202 totals units produced in this length..."

Here is a classic old Controversy, the 24-foot Amphibiette named PASSEPARTOUT; she is looking for a new owner who would restore her to her old glory and then enjoy many years of sailing and cruising. This boat was designed by Cyrus Hamlin and Farnham Butler and built by Farnham Butler at the Mt Desert Yacht Yard in Somesville in 1956. Great opportunity for a handy person who knows boats."

FREE 1960 MANSON 30’. Owner says, “These boats were built in Salisbury, MA. She was a grand boat in her day. The boat is my Dad's and he bought it in the mid 90's, used it until 2002, and it has been sitting since. There is substantial wood rot throughout the boat; the worst seems to be the transom which has come apart on the port side. The exterior will need a lot of structural work but it is still repairable. They are Barbours – a sixteen foot runabout and a nineteen foot sea skiff.
