1959 PACEMAKER SPORT FISHERMAN 40'

HAVE YOU SEE RHUBARB? Elizabeth is hoping the BYB crew could help her locate RHUBARB, her parents’ 1959 Pacemaker 40’ Sport Fisherman. Last seen in Stuart, FL, in 1995, RHUBARB was docked at the Jersey shore from 1968 to 1992 and then donated to the Chapman Piloting School in 1994. More details about the boat, her history and travels.  <PICS+INFO>

FREE BOATS: 1938 & 1940 SKANEATELES COMET 16'

According to Finger Lakes Boating Museum site: "The Comet went on to become one of the most popular racing classes in American history."  "...it's someone else's turn to get two super early one-design, racing sailboats for free. Both boats are 90%+ complete and easily restored for the coming season..."  (7 photos)  <PICS+INFO>

1960 MORTON JOHNSON 47': THE SAGA CONTINUES...

I listed LOAFER IV, the free 1960 Morton Johnson 47' Sport Fish in Bone Yard Boats back in May 2011. Betty and her late husband, Rich, had owned the boat for over 30 years.  She ended up back on Bone Yard Boats in October, this time with a different owner and again being offered Free to a Good Home.  Well, here's another installment in the continuing saga of LOAFER IV!  [50 photos]  <PICS+INFO>

FREE BOAT: 1936 WW PHINNEY CATBOAT 22'

"Classic 22' keel catboat hull. Reportedly built 1936 by WW Phinney. Major restoration/TLC required. It would be a shame to have to destroy it. I've had this boat for 20 years with the intention of rebuilding it, but at this stage in my life it is more of a project than I feel I should undertake.  [18 photos] <PICS+INFO>
